Acer Swift 5 and Swift 3 announced with 11th gen Intel Core processors, price starting at $699

Acer announced that it would be the world’s first laptop powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 CX gen 2 chip, but, in addition to that device, the brand also revealed a revised version of the Acer Swift 3 and Acer Swift 5, now available with new 11th gen Intel processors. What are the specifications of these laptops? Let’s discuss briefly.

Acer Swift 3 Specifications

Acer Swift 3 is part of Intel’s Project Athena. It is available in two variants of a 13-inch display, a 2K one, and an FHD + option.

The device is paired with up to 16GB of RAM on Intel’s latest Tiger Lake processors. There is also a new graphics chip from Intel, Iris Xe. For storage, Swift 3 uses SSDs and comes with a fingerprint scanner and a backlit keyboard.

Acer Swift 5 Specifications

The Acer Swift 5 comes with a 14-inch full HD display, 100% SRGB color gamut, and a hinge that improves thermal performance by providing better typing angle and spacing for heat transmission. There is a choice of 11th Gen Core i5 or Core i7 processors paired with the new Iris Xe graphics onboard. Additionally, Swift 5 has 17 hours of battery life.

Pricing and Availability

While the Acer Swift 3 is priced at  $699 for the full HD version and  $799 for the 2K version, Swift 5 starts at $999. Acer Swift 3 will be available in North America by November, while the Swift 5 will also be available in November.
