CMF Phones (1) are now confirmed
- Although the design of the CMF Phone (1) is hard to discern at the moment, the company says the phone will have a “spectacular” design.
- What this rotating circular ring does, we will know only when the phone is launched.
- The CMF Phone 1 will focus on Nothing's innovation and design.
- The company calls this phone “This is the entry point to our entire product ecosystem.” This suggests that we are looking at phones priced under Rs 20,000.

- The previous teaser image showed the corner of the phone with a screw attached to it.
- It is being speculated that the CMF Phone 1 will have the option to replace the plastic back panel. There may be many color and design options available for customers.
- The screws will probably hold the plastic back panel and the phone together. This also means that Nothing's distinctive Glyph interface will be removed in the CMF Phone 1.
- Having said that, these are just unconfirmed rumours, so things may or may not turn out to be that way.
Another interesting thing about the CMF Phone 1 is that it could be a Rebranded Nothing phone (2a) But with some notable changes/improvements. Recently, a live image of the alleged CMF Phone 1 surfaced online and it also showed a screw at the bottom left corner.
CMF Phones (1): What do we know so far?
Leak claims CMF could be in Phone 1 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the phone (2a) has a slightly larger 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel screen. The handset is also rumoured to feature the same processor. MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC and Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. This is the same as the Nothing phone (2A).
The chipset could be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The handset could feature a 5,000mAh battery like the phone (2a), but charging speeds could be limited to 33W compared to 45W on the phone (2a). The first CMF-branded phone will run on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6 custom skin out of the box.
The CMF Phone 1 may have a 50MP primary camera and a secondary sensor, the details of which are kept secret for now. It may have a 16MP front camera for selfies and video chats. Glyph interface and NFC.
