Gionee is gearing up for a comeback in India after being silent for quite some time. The company recently confirmed that it will be launching the budget segment smartphone Gionee Max in India on August 25. The launch poster has been teased on the e-commerce website Flipkart, which confirms some of the phone’s specifications. The teaser reveals that the Gionee Max 2.5D features a 6.1-inch HD + deodrop display with curved glass design. Now, the page has revealed the battery capacity of the Gionee Max, and what kind of performance we can expect from the story.
The Flipkart Stripe page confirms that the Gionee Max is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery. The list states that the entry-level smartphone is capable of delivering 28 days of standby battery, 24 hours of music playback, 42 hours of calling, 9 hours of movie / video content viewing and 12 hours of gaming.
The teaser page indicates that if the audio and brightness levels are at maximum values, the smartphone will last only 7 hours.
Gionee Max is set to make its official debut in India on August 25th. The Flipkart bar is priced at Rs 6,000 for an entry-level smartphone. As we get closer to the launch we can expect more information on the specifications of the Gionee Max via Flipkart.
