A new slim iPhone may be coming soon

- This means that this model will be costlier than the iPhone Pro Max variant.
- For reference, the iPhone 15 Plus variant is Rs 10,000 costlier than the base iPhone variant. iPhone 15 was launched at Rs 79,990, while the Plus model is priced at Rs 89,990 and the Pro Max variant is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh.
This new slim iPhone move, seeing as it is actually coming, comes after the Cupertino giant introduced the thinnest iPad Pro ever at its 'Let Loose' event. This new obsession with thinness may also be coming to iPhones. For reference, the iPhone 6 was one of the thinnest models at 6.9 mm.

The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to be 'significantly thinner' than any other iPhone model and may feature an aluminum chassis. However, it seems that the design has not been finalized at the moment and several options are in the works. Although the screen size is unclear at the moment, previous reports said that the iPhone 17's slim display will be smaller than the iPhone 15's 6.7-inch panel.
Design-wise, the dynamic island could be slightly smaller and the camera island could be shifted to the centre. As far as the reason being given for discontinuing the iPhone Plus model, sales are not looking encouraging and the new 'slim' phone will give a new direction to Apple and attract more people to buy the new slim phone.
