As said, the phone was recently spotted on the FCC database, BIS and IMEI websites. The first one showed several models with model numbers: XT2403-1, XT2403-2, XT2403-4, and XT2403-5 model numbers. These could be several models of the Edge 50 series.

The FCC certification of the Edge 50 Pro has model number XT2403-2 and confirms that it will have e-SIM support. The model number also appeared on the IMEI database, revealing the Macan codename. The XT2403-1 model number was also spotted on BIS certification along with XT2431-1, suggesting that the phone may launch in India.

According to a post on Weibo, the handset may launch in the second quarter of 2024. There is a possibility that the phone may launch in China with the Motorola X50 moniker.
