OnePlus 13 can be launched with 6.8-inch curved display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC

OnePlus 13 display, chipset information revealed

  • Tipster Digital Chat Station without naming the phone (Via weibo) mentions that the OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO micro-curved display and support 2K resolution.
  • The tipster also said that it will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will be unveiled this year. It is noteworthy that this matches with the recent report,
  • Additionally, the upcoming smartphone is also tipped to feature a multi-focal camera system, which also includes a periscope telephoto camera like the OnePlus 12 for better optical zoom.

On the other hand, recent reports mention that the upcoming OnePlus 13 could be the first phone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, but there are contradictory things that say it could also be the Xiaomi 15 series. Additionally, the OnePlus 13 may come with on-device AI capabilities, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a 50MP primary camera, etc.

  • A recently leaked render, which is speculated to be of OnePlus 13, indicates that the rear panel of the phone may see significant changes in terms of design.
  • The image has revealed that instead of a circular camera setup, the OnePlus 13 may feature vertically aligned rear cameras, which appear to be located in the top-left corner of the phone.
  • Of the three sensors, the middle camera has a slightly larger circle around it than the other two sensors. On the other hand, the Hasselblad branding on the camera module is noticeable.

Meanwhile, the company launched oneplus 12 in India in January at a starting price of Rs 64,999. It features a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED LTPO ProXDR 120Hz display and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

The OnePlus 12 is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset coupled with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It has a 5,400mAh battery, with 100W SuperVOOC charging technology.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 12 sports a 50MP OIS-enabled Sony LYT-808 main camera, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 64MP OV64B periscope sensor with 3x telephoto zoom. It has a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor on its front.
