The wearables market in India is booming and OnePlus doesn’t want to miss out on the opportunity. The Oppo sub-brand adds its first smartwatch under its Nord portfolio in India. The OnePlus Nord Watch is expected to launch later this month or early October 2022. OnePlus has started teasing the smartwatch on its website giving a glimpse of its design and features. However, its leaked renders have revealed its complete design and color options on the internet.
OnePlus Nord Watch: Leaked Renders
Mukul Sharma vai Onsitego published a render of the upcoming Nord Watch in Midnight Black colorway. The smartwatch gets a rectangular dial and a single button, inspired by the Apple Watch. It comes with a silicone strap and a metal buckle. Going by the picture, it packs in all the essential health tracking features like step counter, total distance, heart rate, calorie counter, and SpO2.
Additionally, 91mobiles in collaboration with Ishaan Agrawal published images of the OnePlus Nord Watch from various angles and in black and blue colors. These images display a wavy pattern on the silicone strips. Also, you can see the sleep analysis data displayed on its screen. OnePlus Nord Watch: Specifications (Rumour)
OnePlus has confirmed through its official page that the Nord Watch will flaunt a 1.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 368×448 pixels. It has a maximum brightness of 500 nits for enhanced clarity in sunlight. The brand offers over 100 watch faces that can be downloaded over the air.
According to rumor mills, the smartwatch packs in 105 fitness modes for fitness junkies. It supports the N Health app, which is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
Connectivity and battery
In terms of connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth v5.2 for enhanced connectivity. The smartwatch is expected to offer 10 days of battery life and 30 days of standby on a single charge.
Pricing
As for the price, the OnePlus Nord Watch could be priced between ₹4,000 to ₹9,999. It will also be sold through Amazon and the e-commerce giant has confirmed that it will be priced below ₹10,000.
