  • AI: AI is in focus here with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 equipped with on-device Generator AI. It also supports several large language models (LLMs).
    Large Vision Model (LVM). The chipset is also capable of AI-powered multi-language translation and transcription.
  • Display: Qualcomm says the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 has 15 percent better Kyro CPU and 45 percent Adreno GPU. It has one prime core up to 2.8GHz, four performance cores up to 2.6GHz, and three efficiency cores up to 1.9GHz.
  • In terms of RAM and storage, it supports up to 24GB of LP-DDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

  • Gaming: The chipset features a 'Game Post Processing Accelerator' that helps deliver visual effects like bloom, depth and motion blur. It is also equipped with 'Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2.0' which helps in rendering content better at double the framerate but without consuming power.
  • Cameras: This chipset can support up to 36MP triple camera, 64MP + 36MP dual camera, 108MP single camera and up to 200MP resolution. It also features AI-based face detection, Google Ultra HDR photo capture, 4K HDR video capture, and more.
  • Connectivity: It is equipped with the Snapdragon X63 5G modem-RF system, and the chipset brings Wi-Fi 7 support for the first time on the Snapdragon 7-series.
  • Display: The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 supports QHD+ displays at 120Hz and 4K at 60Hz. It also comes with HDR10, HDR10+, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision.

Smartphones to be launched with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC

The first phones confirmed to use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset will be from OnePlus, Realme and Sharp. There is no official confirmation yet but Realme GT Neo 6 SE is rumored to launch with this chipset.
