Realme GT Neo 6 is reported to come with Snapdragon 8 series chipset and 1.5K display

Information given about the hardware of Realme GT Neo 6 series

  • Tipster DigitalChatStation reports that the Realme GT Neo 6 series will come with a 1.5K display, which may be an AMOLED panel and may have support for a 144Hz refresh rate.
  • The phone may be powered by the SM8635 SoC, which could be a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series chipset, probably the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

The chipset in question comes with a single Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.61GHz and three Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 1.84GHz. The Pineapple codename aligns it with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. For graphics, there's an Adreno 735 GPU, which is a slight downgrade from the Adreno 750 GPU on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

No other details of the Realme GT Neo 6 series have been revealed at the moment but we should hear more in the coming days. As for the chipset, leaks on the internet suggest that the SM7675 and SM8635 chips will be available in the market in March. Both chips are expected to be variants of the same architecture and will also share the development code name “Cliffs” within Qualcomm.
