The Redmi 13 4G is an upgrade over the Redmi 12 4G launched last year. Both models get a 6.79-inch display and the screen resolution is FHD+. We also get a 90Hz refresh rate, so there is no upgrade in the display.
The primary upgrade in the Redmi 13 4G is the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. While both the phones offer only 4G network support, there will be some notable performance upgrades. With the new Redmi phones, we get the latest Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin. It seems Xiaomi wants to increase the number of devices that have HyperOS, which is an upgraded UI from MIUI.
The 50MP primary camera sensor in the previous model has been replaced with a 108MP primary camera sensor, which should produce slightly better results with less noise.
