According to tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a 50MP sensor with 5x optical zoom.
In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra zoom-in shots are limited to 12MP.
The tipster has shared an image on Weibo and it shows the EXIF data of a 5x zoomed-in image from the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This suggests that the flagship will be able to capture photos at the full 50MP resolution of 6120 x 8160 pixels in zoomed-in shots.
It also suggests that the telephoto camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra may be upgraded from a 10MP sensor to 50MP. This should result in better quality images.
In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 10MP telephoto lens and a 10MP periscope lens.
Display:The S24 Ultra is expected to feature a larger 6.8-inch Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and a punch-hole cutout.
Processor:The Ultra model will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with Adreno GPU.
RAM and Storage:The handset may pack 12GB RAM and 256GB and 512GB storage. It may also have a 1TB storage option.
Cameras: The Galaxy S24 Ultra may feature a 200MP primary camera with 3x, 5x, and 10x telephoto sensors. There may be a 12MP snapper on the front for selfies.
