Vivo X Fold 3 series to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, camera samples revealed

Via Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo on Weibo, has posted several camera samples from the Pro model of the series along with new images of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. check them out.


Regarding the design, it is worth noting that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a circular camera module on the back and a large cover display on the exterior. More details about the Vivo X Fold 3 series will be revealed later.

Key specifications of Vivo X Fold 3 series

Jingdong revealed that the X Fold 3 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Furthermore, he revealed that the device has achieved an AnTuTu score of over 2.17 million. These phones are also claimed to be the thinnest and lightest flagship foldable devices, with the thickness rumored to be less than that of the Vivo X5 Max, which measures 4.75mm.

According to Jingdong, it will feature an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 screen and will inherit the imaging capabilities of the Vivo X100 series as it may be equipped with a Zeiss T* lens, a 50MP main primary camera, and Vivo's V3 imaging chip.

The series will come with two days of battery life and include a “Blue Ocean” battery system, which will ensure lasting performance even in challenging conditions. Also, the company's “Blue Heart” AI model will be integrated into these upcoming foldables, which will enhance their overall functionality.

The official claims that the upcoming series is reinforced with a foldable-ready “Armor Feather” body structure, making it the world’s first foldable with SGS five-star anti-drop certification and IPX8 water resistance.
