Xiaomi 13 will be the most affordable flagship offering from the company that will launch in China next month. It may also come to India. The launch details in India have not been revealed at the moment. Meanwhile, leaked details suggest that the Xiaomi 13 will feature a new camera sensor on the back. It is said that the company will launch the phone with the new Sony IMX8 series 50MP sensor. The Tipster Digital Chat Station did not provide full details on the type of sensor.

The smartphone will also feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset. The vanilla model will likely get support for 120W faster charging out of the box instead of the 67W fast charging found on the previous model. Speaking of the display resolution, 2K support can be found in it. According to reports, the phone will have a 6.2-inch AMOLED display. The 120Hz refresh rate will be supported. Design renderings of the vanilla model have also been leaked.

Details of the Xiaomi 13 5G are under wraps. The company is expected to launch the phone in China in December 2022 alongside the 13 Pro 5G which is said to house the 12S Ultra’s 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 camera sensor. We can expect both models to come with Leica-tuned cameras. It will come with a new square-shaped camera module on the back. The phone will also have a punch-hole cutout at the top center of the screen.
