  • DCS claims that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a reworked product, which probably means the hardware is being worked on from the ground up rather than adopting or building on the Xiaomi 14 series.

  • The series will also come with a LEICA Optical full-focal length quad-camera system and some new unique features on top of the LEICA optics. However, the details have been kept under wraps for now.
  • The tipster says that these advancements will be implemented for the first time on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
  • Due to all these improvements and upgrades, the BOM cost will increase by more than RMB 700 (roughly Rs. 8,200), which means the price of Xiaomi 14 Ultra may be increased.

The tipster also hints at a series of new “imaging flagships” in Xiaomi's lineup. One of those phones is expected to arrive in February and three are tentatively scheduled for March. No other information has been revealed about the phone at present. There is a possibility that the Xiaomi India teaser may be related to the new 'imaging flagship' and not the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
