Xiaomi 15 Pro hardware details revealed
- According to DigitalChatStation, the early prototype of Xiaomi 15 Pro will be equipped with a 2K micro-curved screen.
- Without revealing the actual screen size, the tipster claimed that the screen will be much different than its predecessor.
- Xiaomi 15 Pro is also known to have a periscope camera. The design of the camera module has reportedly been clearly fine-tuned.
- Inside the module, there may be triple cameras, which include a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP periscope lens with macro capability.
- The main sensor will reportedly feature a larger aperture than the Xiaomi 14.
The Xiaomi 15 series could be the first series to be powered by Qualcomm's next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The chipset will be manufactured by TSMC and will use the 2nd Gen 3nm process node (N3E).
The flagship is expected to arrive in early October. Xiaomi 15 Pro is reported to have a feature Ultra-Sonic In-Display Fingerprint Sensor for security. Design-wise, the Xiaomi 15 is believed to have a flat display similar to its predecessor, while the Pro version may have a slight curvature as reported by DCS. Since the launch is still a long way off, we should hear more details in the coming days.
