iQOO Z9 key specifications officially revealed

  • The iQOO Z9 is confirmed to have a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor. This would place the phone in the mid-range category as phones like the Vivo T2 Pro are powered by the same chipset. It is also worth noting that the iQOO Z7 Pro comes with the same chipset.
  • Another 'first in the segment' on the iQOO Z9 is going to be the 50MP Sony IMX882 camera with OIS. It will also come with a 5,000mAh battery.
  • The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1800 nits of peak brightness and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The iQOO Z9 will come in a thin 7.83mm body with a brushed pattern and a black camera module. It will have two color options of Brushed Green and Graphene Blue, with the former giving an overall metallic look.

iQOO has revealed most of the important details about the Z9. As for the rest of its specs, the iQOO Z9 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch display. It may launch with up to 8GB of RAM with the option of virtual RAM. On the software front, the iQOO Z9 will likely run Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. It is also likely to offer 44W fast charging technology.

The iQOO Z9 is also expected to be priced at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, which will be the base model of the smartphone.
