India launch date of Lava O2 revealed
- Lava O2 will launch in India on March 22 at 12pm IST.
- The handset will be sold exclusively on Amazon and dedicated microsite Has revealed some key specifications.
- Lava claims that the 'O2' will be the fastest phone in its price segment with a score of 2.8L in the AnTuTu benchmarking platform.
- The microsite reveals the complete design of the phone.
There is a centrally located punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and noticeable bezels around the screen. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge while the SIM tray is on the left edge. We see a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a primary microphone at the bottom. There is a rectangular module at the back that houses dual-camera sensors and an LED flash.
Lava O2 specifications confirmed
- processor:Lava O2 is confirmed to be powered by Unisoc T616 SoC
- RAM/Storage:The chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has expandable RAM support and an expandable microSD card slot.
- Display: The handset will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout.
- camera: The Lava phone will have a 50MP primary camera at the back. There may be an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The camera will support portrait mode, night mode, HDR, intelligent scanning, slow motion etc.
- os:Android 13 OS out of the box.
- Battery: It will have a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
- Other: Lava O2 will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support. The company is also offering free home support option.
- Lava O2 will be available in Imperial Green, Majestic Purple and Royal Gold color options.
