Oppo Reno 12 Pro hardware revealed
- Oppo Reno 12 Pro TENAA authentication Some key hardware details of the phone are revealed, including display, camera, network connectivity and more.
- First of all, the listing suggests that the phone will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display 2412×1080 pixel resolution.
- According to the TENAA listing, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will measure 161.4×74.8×7.55 mm and weigh 183 grams.
- The battery department mentions that it will have a 4,880mAh battery but it may be marketed as a 5,000mAh cell at launch. There are rumors that it will have 80W fast charging support.
- Camera details of the upcoming Reno phone have also been revealed. We will get two 50MP sensors and an 8MP third lens. Interestingly, there will also be a 50MP shooter for selfies.
- Although the chipset details are under wraps, it will be an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.25GHz. The only chipset with the said clock speed is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
- It will be paired with 12GB/16GB RAM 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options.
- While the TENAA listing only says Android, the version number could be Android 14.
For reference, the Reno 11 Pro came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which suggests that the successor is set to bring some major performance improvements courtesy of a new Dimensity chipset. The 32MP front camera can be upgraded with a larger 50MP shooter for better/sharper selfies. The 32MP telephoto lens can also be replaced with a 50MP unit.
Recent render leaks have revealed that the phone will come Gold, purple and black color options. Apart from the Reno 12 Pro, the vanilla Reno 12 will also launch on the same platform. The phones will also be launched in India after Reno 12 Pro Received BIS certification, The announcement could come as soon as its China debut this week.
