In this test, we streamed the same YouTube video on both phones with the same brightness and volume settings to measure battery consumption on each device., After 30 minutes of streaming on each phone, the Realme P1 5G recorded a battery consumption of 3 percent compared to a marginally higher battery consumption of 5 percent on the Lava Blaze Curve. While the Realme P1 wins this round, it does so by a very narrow lead.

In our gaming test, we played BGMI at the same graphical settings for 30 minutes each on both the phones. At the end of the session, the Realme P1 5G was down by 7 percent, while the Blaze Curve 5G was down by 6 percent. Testing shows that the Blaze Curve is slightly better than the Realme P1 with less drain.

As you can see, Realme P1 5G and Lava Blaze Curve are good in different aspects in terms of battery performance. While the Realme phone offers faster charging speeds and slower battery consumption during video streaming, the Lava phone offers slightly slower speeds during gaming and longer battery backup. All things considered, it is fair to say that the Realme P1 comes out on top as it offers significantly faster charging and in other departments, it is very close if not better than the Lava offering. With a lower retail price of Rs 16,999 (compared to the Blaze Curve's price of Rs 18,999), the Realme P1 seems to be a better option for those looking for a good performer in the battery department.
