Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 9 will be launched in India on August 27. The device has been spotted online with numerous leaks. It has been suggested that the handset might come as a rebranded version of Redmi 9C, but with some twisted hardware. In a recent development, Tipster has shared some images with Redmi 9’s expected hardware in India.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 Indian variant design and full specifications
Tipstar Suhanshu Ambhore took to Twitter to reveal the design and complete specifications of Redmi 9 in India. Shared pictures do not show the handset’s fascia.
However, there is a square shaped camera module on the top left of the rear panel. Furthermore, the device can be found in three different colors including black, orange and blue. As mentioned earlier, Tipster has also revealed a full description of the Redmi 9 Indian variant.
According to the tweet, the smartphone will be launched with a 6.53-inch LCD display. The display offers HD + resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a aspect ratio of 20: 9. In the imaging section, the smartphone uses a dual-lens setup that is placed inside a square shaped module.
Setup The 13MP primary sensor is paired with an F / 2.2 aperture with a 2MP sensor and an F / 2.4 aperture for bokeh effects. It is said to have a 5MP sensor with f / 2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. Under the hood, the device is packed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. This is the recently announced entry-level gaming chipset.
The Tipster also features dual SIM support and 512GB microSD card support. It offers a microUSB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity option. Completing the spec-sheet is a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
