Samsung announced the Galaxy A42 5G smartphone. However, its key specifications and prices were not disclosed at the time. Now the company has officially released the specifications and the price of the phone.
According to a press release by Samsung German, the Galaxy A42 5G will be available in the European market in November for 369 euros (the US $ 437 / Rs 32,014 approx.). The phone comes in black, white, and gray.
Display and processor
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED DudeDrop-Notch Display. It has FHD + screen resolution and supports the fingerprint scanner on display. The phone has an octa-core Snapdragon 690 processor. It has 6GB RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.
Camera
The phone has quad cameras on the back, a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro camera, plus a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front is a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f / 2.2 aperture.
Battery and other details
The Samsung Galaxy A42 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 5G fast charging support and runs Android 10 with OneUI 2.1. Connectivity embryos include 5G SA / NSA, dual 4G VOLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
