The price of Galaxy M55 5G is BZR 2,699 which is approximately Rs 45,000. It comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in two color options: light green and dark blue.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy M55 5G in other markets including India later this year. Here, it will likely come in more than one variant and possibly at an affordable price as well.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: What's new?

Galaxy M55 5G has been launched as the successor to Galaxy M54 5G. It has the same design language with curved edges and a punch-hole display. In terms of upgrades, you get an improved 50MP front camera over the 32MP sensor on the Galaxy M54 5G. However the primary sensor has been reduced from 108MP to 50MP.

Samsung has also opted for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC for the Galaxy M55 5G. Its predecessor is powered by the in-house Exynos 1380 SoC. Interestingly, the battery size has been reduced from 6000mAh to 5000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood of the phone runs a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The smartphone sports a triple camera setup at the back that consists of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfie, you get a 50MP front camera in Galaxy M55 5G. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 layered on top.

With the Galaxy M55 5G you also get dual speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C port, and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
