Vivo's next V-series smartphone may not be V31 or V33 but Vivo V40

Vivo may change the naming convention for its V-series smartphones

according to a report According to 91mobiles (Hindi), the upcoming variant of Vivo's V-series may be named V40. Traditionally, Vivo names its V-series smartphones based on the next odd number in the series, as evidenced by previous models like V21, V23, V25, V27 and V29. The only exceptions with even numbers in the series are the V20 and the upcoming V30.

Vivo V40 launch timeline

Vivo V40 is expected to launch between August and September 2024. At present, not much information is available regarding the device.
