HMD smartphone launched in India
HMD India OnX shared a teaser announcing the launch of its smartphone in India. The brand said it will reveal the name of the first HMD smartphone in India on April 29. So by the beginning of next week we will know which device is coming here.
There is no clue as to which HMD smartphone will launch here but we can assume it will be one of the four recently launched devices. The lineup includes the HMD Pulse and Pulse Pro launched in Europe and the HMD Vibe launched in the US. All four phones fall in the budget segment and their starting price is around Rs 12,500.

HMD Vibe features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a 13MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor and 5MP selfie camera. The phone also has a 4000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It also has an IP52 rating for dust and spill resistance.
HMD Pulse, Pulse+ Specifications
The HMD Pulse and Pulse+ have similar specifications with a 6.65-inch LCD 90Hz display. Both phones are powered by the UNISOC T606 chipset paired with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage. These phones also come with self-repairing kits.
The HMD Pulse and Pulse+ run on Android 14 OS with two years of OS updates and three years of security patches. The camera bit is a little different on the HMD Pulse with a 13MP primary camera and a secondary depth sensor. HMD Pulse+ has a 50MP primary camera and a secondary sensor. Both phones have the same 8MP front camera for selfies. The HMD Pulse and Pulse+ also have the same 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

HMD Pulse Pro comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ display, UNISOC T606 SoC, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. It runs Android 14 with two years of Android updates and three years of security patches. The smartphone has a 50MP primary camera and a secondary sensor. It has a 50MP camera on the front for selfies and video chat. The phone has a 5000mAh battery but with 20W fast charging support.
